Ireland's Eurovision representative Molly Sterling with Måns Zelmerlöw representing Sweden, at the official opening ceremony of the 60th Eurovision Song Contest at the City Hall in Vienna, Austria, 17 May 2015. Sterling represented Ireland with the song 'Playing With Numbers' in the second Eurovision Song Contest semi-final held on 21 May 2015. Ireland did not qualify for the final. Zelmerlöw performed the song 'Heroes' in the second Eurovision Song Contest semi-final; qualifying for the final held on 23 May 2015. He went on to win the Eurovision Song Contest with 365 points. The 60th Eurovision Song Contest was broadcast live on RTÉ Television on 23 May 2015 |
