A view of the exterior set used in the TG4 Irish language soap 'Ros na Rún', photographed for the RTÉ Guide during filming in Spiddal, County Galway, in February 2018. Túr Mhic Airt (McArt's Tower) is in the background, beside the 'Ros na Rún' post office. A Garda car is partly visible in the foreground. Stills from this shoot accompanied an interview with actor Macdara Ó Fátharta, who played Tadhg in the programme, published in the 3-9 March 2018 issue. 'Ros na Rún' is a joint production between Tyrone Productions and EO Teilifís; it has been running on TG4 since 3 November 1996. |
