Broadcaster Ryan Tubridy interviews Paul Harrington, Charlie McGettigan and Lesley Roy on 'The Late Late Show', 6 March 2020. Paul Harrington and Charlie McGettigan won the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) in 1994 with the song ‘Rock and Roll Kids’. Lesley Roy was selected to represent Ireland with the song 'Story of My Life' in the 2020 ESC to be held in Rotterdam in The Netherlands. On 18 March 2020, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) announced that the contest would not take place because of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. Roy was to have participated in semi-final 1 on 12 May 2020. Semi-final 2 was to be held on 14 May 2020, with the final taking place on 16 May 2020. |
