Description |
Traditional Irish musicians in the village of Clondra, County Longford, during the recording of RTÉ Television's 'A Job of Journeywork' in August 1977. Singer Dolly MacMahon is seated in the centre of shot (wearing a black and gold dress); she also hosted the second episode of this programme broadcast on 2 April 1978. Concertina player Noel Hill is beside her (wearing glasses). This series was recorded in different locations - Clondra featured in the first four episodes. The first programme in the series was broadcast on 26 March 1978; an RTÉ Guide preview was published on 24 March 1978. |
