Description   Irish actors Wesley Murphy as Boyle (left) and JG (Jimmy) Devlin as Dinny in a scene from the RTÉ Television drama 'Cancer', during filming in a graveyard in Baltiboys or Boystown, County Wicklow, in May 1973.

'Cancer' was the first part of a trilogy of television plays written by Eugene McCabe entitled 'Victims'. McCabe based 'Cancer' on a story originally published in 'The Dublin Magazine'. It was first broadcast by RTÉ on 3 October 1973 and was the first television drama RTÉ filmed on location and in colour. It won an award for best script at the Prague International Television Festival.
