| Description | Part of the set from the RTÉ Television drama 'The Last Eleven', during filming in Studio 1 on 18 May 1968. The set is of a church door, through which a funeral service can be seen. This play was originally written for the stage by Jack White, then Assistant Controller of Programmes at RTÉ, and won the Irish Life Drama Award in 1967. It was first broadcast on RTÉ Television on 14 November 1968. White wrote an article about the play which was published in the RTÉ Guide on 8 November 1968. | |
