Description   RTÉ News reporter Jim Fahy interviews Mother Teresa for the RTÉ Radio programme 'Teresa of Calcutta', in Calcutta, India, in 1979. Fahy spent several weeks travelling around India with producer Dick Warner; the resulting documentary was broadcast on 11 April 1979. A still from this shoot was used to illustrate the accompanying RTÉ Guide article, published on 6 April 1979.

Mother Teresa was an Albanian Roman Catholic nun who founded the Missionaries of Charity. She became famous through her work among the poor of Calcutta and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979. She was beatified in 2003.
