Irish country music guitarist Philip Donnelly during the recording of RTÉ Television's 'The Session', in Studio 4 in June 1987. 'The Session' was an RTÉ/Frontier Films co-production which featured musicians from Ireland, Britain and America performing together - the shows were recorded in RTÉ's studios in front of an audience of 400. Philip Donnelly featured on the show broadcast on 14 November 1987. An article on the entire series appeared in the RTÉ Guide of 9 October 1987. |
