Jim FitzGerald as Martin McAshe (left) and Liam Redmond as John Murphy, in a scene from the RTÉ Television drama 'Legion of the Rearguard', during filming in Studio 1 in 1975. This play, written by Criostóir Ó Floinn, concerned the attempts of a new curate to change his parish's temperance club into a youth club. It was broadcast on 19 November 1975. Ó Floinn wrote an article for the RTÉ Guide about the play, which was published in its edition of 14 November 1975. |
