Irish actor Michael Ford-FitzGerald (centre) who played Gerry Ryan in the RTÉ Radio 1 production of the play 'Lambo', with director Sean Phelan (left) and writer Hugh Travers in a programme publicity shot taken in an RTÉ Radio Centre studio in January 2014. 'Lambo' was first performed on stage during the Dublin Fringe Festival in 2013 and was first broadcast on RTÉ Radio 1 on 2 February 2014 as part of the 'Drama on One' strand. It was based on the 1987 controversy surrounding RTÉ broadcaster Gerry Ryan's claim that he killed a lamb during a survival challenge. 'Lambo' was a co-production between Underscore Productions and RTÉ Drama On One. |
