Actress Audrey Hepburn is interviewed by broadcaster Gay Byrne on RTÉ Television's 'The Late Late Show', in Studio 1 on 30 September 1988. This shot was taken over Byrne's shoulder (he has his back to camera). Gay Byrne also produced this episode of 'The Late Late'. Audrey Hepburn was born in Belgium of an English father and a Dutch mother. Her first major role in 'Roman Holiday' (1953) won her an Oscar. She also starred in 'Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961) and 'My Fair Lady' (1964). Hepburn became a United Nations UNICEF special ambassador in 1988, a position she held until her death in 1993. |
