| Description | RTÉ News reporter Kieron Wood wearing a wig and gown shortly after he qualified as a barrister on 20 July 1995. The Four Courts building in Dublin city can be seen in the background. Wood was Legal Affairs Correspondent for RTÉ at the time; he was the first journalist/broadcaster to be appointed to that position in January 1991 (see RTÉ Guide of 31 May 1991). Wood had previously been RTÉ's Religious Affairs Correspondent. A brief report on his appointment as a barrister was published in the RTÉ staff magazine 'Access' on 27 July 1995. | |
