Anti-nuclear campaigner Adi Roche, in a publicity shot taken in the RTÉ Stills Studio in October 1997. This still was used during RTÉ Television's 1997 Presidential election coverage. Adi Roche initiated the Chernobyl Children's Project in 1990; it is a charity which helps children suferring from the radioactive fall-out resulting from the explosion in the nuclear reactor there in 1986. |
