The control room of Studio 10 in the RTÉ Radio Centre, during preparations for a live satellite interview with Irish rock band U2 in October 1988. RTÉ 2fm producer Ian Wilson is on the right of shot on the telephone. American producer Andy Denemark is sitting beside him at the control desk. This interview was broadcast live to an audience of 10 million in America as well as listeners in Ireland. The RTÉ Guide published an article about it on 4 November 1988. |
