Description   A view of German sculptor Imogen Stuart in her studio in Sandymount, Dublin with one of her works 'Window on the World', 2000. She is standing to the left of shot, looking up at this very large pine sculpture (54 x 54"), which is suspended from the ceiling by chains. The figure of a crucified Christ occupies the middle of the piece; he is surrounded by four sqaure gaps in the wood. This still was taken during the filming of RTE television's Religious Affairs programme 'Would You Believe'. It broadcast a special programme on Imogen Stuart on 6 June 2000, with Eleanor Cunney producing.

Imogen Stuart studied under German sculptor Hitzberger before moving to Ireland in 1951. She is best known for such large public sculptures as Pangur Bán, located in UCD, Fiddler of Dooney at Stillorgan Shopping centre, Dublin and religious sculptures such as Monument to John Paul II in Maynooth College.
