Leslie Dowdall, lead singer with Irish rock group In Tua Nua, performing on stage at Dublin's National Stadium in September 1984. This concert was recorded by RTÉ Television, and broadcast as part of the second series of 'Festival Folk', on 5 July 1985. 'Festival Folk' televised concerts from the National Stadium featuring well-known folk singers and musicians. In Tua Nua, a seven-member group, fused rock and traditional music. Leslie Dowdall subsequently embarked on a solo singing career. |
