Description |
Three of the main contributors to RTÉ Television's 'A Noble Call', pose for a programme publicity shot in Studio 2, in the autumn of 1966. From front to back; Ritchie Stewart, Des Keogh and Charlie Byrne. Stewart is holding a pint up to the camera. 'A Noble Call' was a weekly half-hour music and entertainment programme, set in a pub. Stewart played the manager of the pub, Byrne the barman while Keogh was a regular patron. Various musical guests appeared each week. The first programme was broadcast on 26 September 1966. The RTÉ Guide of 23 September 1966 published an article on the show. A still from this shoot was used in the RTÉ Guide of 18 November 1966. |
