A view of the control room of Outside Broadcast (OB) Unit 5, during the recording of the second series of the RTÉ Television traditional/folk music show 'The Moutain Lark', at Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann's headquarters in Monkstown, County Dublin, in November 1985. From background to foreground; unit manager Sean Lacken, vision mixer Mary O'Mahony, producer/director Brian Eustace and production assistant Seán Ó Méalóid. This first episode in this second series of 'The Mountain Lark' was broadcast on 12 November 1985. The first ever episode was broadcast on 29 April 1985 with the accompanying RTÉ Guide article appearing in the issue of 26 April 1985. |
