Description
A newspaper vendor stands outside the ruins of the GPO on Dublin's Sackville Street (now O'Connell Street), in the aftermath of the Easter Rising in 1916. He is wearing a bowler hat and is holding a bundle of newspapers under his left arm. More newspapers are arranged behind him on a plank of wood placed between two wooden barrels. A cart is partially visible to the left of the scene.
