The production team for RTÉ Radio's 'Morning Airs' programme, in an RTÉ studio on Henry Street, Dublin, in November 1971. From left to right; Valerie McGovern (presenter), Billy Wall (producer), Colm O'Rourke (disc operator) and Kathleen Leyden (sound operator, at that time RTÉ Radio's only female sound operator). 'Morning Airs' ran from 7.30am to 11.00am five mornings a week and combined news and traffic reports with music and record requests. Stills from this shoot accompanied an RTÉ Guide article about the programme published on 19 November 1971. |
