Description |
Irish singer Dana wins the 6th National Song Contest with 'All Kinds of Everything', in an RTÉ Television studio on 1 March 1970. This competition selected Ireland's representative in the Eurovision Song Contest; Dana went on to win Eurovision for the first time for Ireland later that year. The 6th National Contest was broadcast live on RTÉ Television and Radio on 1 March 1970; stills from this shoot accompanied an RTÉ Guide follow-up article published on 6 March 1970. The Guide had previewed all the contestants in the previous week's edition on 27 February 1970. |
