A wide shot of Irish traditional/folk musician Dónal Lunny and guests, during the recording of RTÉ Television's 'The Session' in Studio 4 in June 1987. 'The Session' was an RTÉ/Frontier Films co-production which featured musicians from Ireland, Britain and America performing together - the shows were recorded in RTÉ's studios in front of an audience of 400. Dónal Lunny featured on the show broadcast on 7 November 1987. An article on the entire series appeared in the RTÉ Guide of 9 October 1987. |
