A courtroom scene from the RTÉ Television drama series 'Fair City' during filming on Stage A in April 1999. The trial was of Dr Jack Shanahan for the rape of Lorraine Molloy; Eddie Naessens as Dr Jack is sitting in the witness box. Judge Gareth O'Keeffe is played by Derek Young while the barrister may be Caitriona Corcoran played by Jane Brennan (unconfirmed). The RTÉ Guide published a front cover article on this storyline in its edition of 16 April 1999. 'Fair City' is an urban soap set in Dublin which has been running on RTÉ since 1989. |
