RTÉ broadcaster/reporter Iseult O'Doherty and ex-IRA man Shane Paul O'Doherty, who is holding a puppy, pose for a photograph during the filming of RTÉ Television's series on religious matters 'Would You Believe' in February 1994. This episode of 'Would You Believe', entitled 'God and War', was first broadcast on 24 February 1994. Shane Paul O'Doherty was one of three men interviewed on the programme about reconciling killing for a cause with their Christian principles. O'Doherty was a former IRA member who renounced violence. The RTÉ Guide briefly previewed the programme in its issue of 18 February 1994. |
