Description   Irish rock band Thin Lizzy perform on stage at a concert held on the lawn at RTÉ in Donnybrook, Dublin, on 12 June 1973. From left to right; Eric Bell on rhythm guitar, Phil Lynott on bass guitar and drummer Brian Downey. Lynott is wearing platform shoes. Some members of the audience can be seen in the foreground at the front of the stage.

This Thin Lizzy concert was recorded by RTÉ Television and parts of it broadcast on 'The Music Makers', an RTÉ Light Entertainment series that featured well-known performers in both pop and jazz music, on 24 February 1974. Stills from this shoot were used to illustrate a brief article on the programme published in the RTÉ Guide on 22 February 1974. An article about the entire series of 'The Music Makers' was published in the RTÉ Guide of 28 September 1973.

Phil Lynott was lead singer with Thin Lizzy before embarking on a solo career in 1980. He died of heart failure following a drug overdose in 1986.
