Description   A view of ruined buildings on Lower Sackville Street (now Lower O'Connell Street), in the aftermath of the Easter Rising in Dublin city in 1916. This shot was taken from the upper floor of a building on Sackville Street. The Daniel O'Connell monument is in the the foreground, while people can be seen walking on Eden Quay on the right. The Custom House is in the right background. This shot was probably taken from one of the upper floors of Chancellor's (photographers to the King) on 55 Lower Sackville Street.
