French singer Anne-Marie David, surrounded by photographers after her win for Luxembourg in the 1973 Eurovision Song Contest, which was held in the Nouveau Théâtre de Luxembourg on 7 April that year. David won the contest with the song 'Tu Te Reconnaîtras'. David represented her native France in the 1979 Eurovision. RTÉ Television broadcast the contest live on 7 April. The RTÉ Guide of 6 April 1973 published a three-page preview of the contest while the following week's Guide featured a follow-up report, using stills from this shoot. |
