Caption   Sack of Trim (1920)
Description   Men hold up a broken mirror following a Black and Tan sacking of Trim, Meath, on 30 September 1920. It was in reprisal for the destruction of the Royal Irish Constabulary (RIC) barracks by the Irish Republican Army (IRA). The mantle held up by the men in the centre shot contained bullets hidden from the Black and Tans.
