Niall Toibin as Scober MacAdam in a scene from the RTÉ Television production of 'King of the Castle', during filming in Rathnew, County Wicklow in October 1976. This play, written by Eugene McCabe, was first broadcast on RTÉ Television on 3 October 1977. The RTÉ Guide published a preview on 30 September 1977. 'King of the Castle' was first produced on stage in Dublin in 1964 - it won an Irish Life Award that same year. |
