The team behind RTÉ Television's 'The Session', in Studio 4 in June 1987. Twin brothers Dave and Gerald Heffernan of Frontier Films production company are in shot (back row), together with some of the guests who appeared on the show. 'The Session' was an RTÉ/Frontier Films co-production which featured musicians from Ireland, Britain and America performing together - the shows were recorded in RTÉ's studios in front of an audience of 400. An article on the entire series appeared in the RTÉ Guide of 9 October 1987. |
