Irish actress Geraldine Plunkett as Mary McDermott-Moran, during the filming of the RTÉ Television drama series 'Glenroe' in October 1985. She is dressed in a formal outfit complete with hat. Standing just behind her is Emmet Bergin who played the part of Dick Moran - his image is blurred in this shot. This photograph was taken during the filming of the characters Biddy and Miley's wedding ceremony. 'Glenroe' was a rural soap which ran from 1983-2001. This episode was broadcast on 9 February 1986 - it was filmed in Ashford and Kilcoole, County Wicklow. |
