Former footballers Eamon Dunphy (left) and George Best, on RTÉ Television's 'The Late Late Show' to discuss Dunphy's biography of Manchester United FC manager Matt Busby, on 20 September 1991. This edition of the 'The Late Late' was presented by Gay Byrne and produced and directed by Byrne and Colette Farmer.
Eamon Dunphy played for England's Millwall Football Club from 1965-73. He won 23 Republic of Ireland caps from 1966-77. He later became a sports writer, journalist and broadcaster.
Best played for Manchester United in the 1960s and 1970s, winning European Championship medals in the 1964-5 and 1966-7 seasons. He also played for Northern Ireland between 1964 and 1977 scoring nine international goals.
