O'Kelly, Francis (1938 - 2016)
A sketch from RTÉ Television's 'Hall's Pictorial Weekly', during filming in Studio 2 in the autumn of 1975. From left to right; Pat Daly, Frank Kelly and Eamon Morrissey. There is a large antique microphone on Kelly's desk. Three of Terry Willers's cartoons can be seen hanging in the background; they all have the words "More Power" written on them. Terry Willers regularly contributed cartoons and drawings to the programme.
'Hall's Pictorial Weekly' started in 1971 as 'Hall's Pictorial Weekly Incorporating the Provincial Vindicator'. It ran until 1980 with Frank Hall presenting and editing.
