Description   Soldiers lay wreaths on the grave of Roger Casement in Dublin's Glasnevin Cemetery, during his re-interment there on 1 March 1965. President Eamon de Valera is to the right of the shot.

Roger Casement was given a state funeral and was buried with full military honours in the Republican plot in Glasnevin Cemetery. He was hanged in Pentonville Prison, London in 1916, for treason against the crown.
