A scene from the RTÉ Television play 'Choosing', during filming in Studio 1 in October 1981. From left to right; Brenda Scallon as Patsy, Máire O'Neill as Beth and Liam Halligan as Tim. The scene is taking place around the kitchen table at breakfast. 'Choosing', written by Maureen Donegan, concerned eighteen-year-old Tim's inability to cope with the combined stress of family and student life. It was broadcast by RTÉ Television on 17 January 1982 as part of the 'Sunday One' series of plays. The RTÉ Guide published an article on the play in its edition of 15 January 1982. |
