Construction work in progress on the Dublin Port Tunnel, at Whitehall in the north of the city, on 10 June 2004. This still was taken from a pedestrian bridge nearby. The Dublin Port Tunnel is due to connect Dublin Port with the M1 to the north of the city, allowing traffic, particularly heavy good vehicles, to bypass the city centre. |
