Children from Rathgar National School, Dublin, on the Telefís Éireann (RTÉ Television) programme, 'Thoughts for Christmas', during studio recording in November/December 1963. The clergyman leading the prayers is the Reverend DJO (David) Barr from St Mark's Church of Ireland on Pearse Street, Dublin city. 'Thoughts for Christmas' consisted of meditations, in words and music, on three aspects of the Christian message. It was broadcast on Christmas Day 1963; stills from this shoot accompanied an RTV (RTÉ) Guide preview published on 20 December 1963. |
