Description |
Sir Thomas Ainsworth blowing a bugle at a hunt, 1920s. He is wearing a hunting jacket, hat and holding a whip. Ainsworth was a horse owner and bloodstock breeder. His horse 'Anzio' won the champion hurdle at Cheltenham in 1962. Winners for Ainsworth at Punchestown included, 'Roan Rocket' and 'Looking Glass'. He was master of the 'Tipperary Foxhounds', 'Galway Blazers' and 'Limerick Hounds'. |
