Irish actors Paddy Long and Una McCourt, who played Mr and Mrs Paddy Moore in RTÉ's first television soap opera 'Tolka Row', standing on the tarmac outside the departures lounge at Dublin Airport in September/October 1965. Each of them is holding a very young child in their arms and looking out over the tarmac. The storyline involved the Moores emigrating to Canada. 'Tolka Row' was written by Maura Laverty and produced by Christopher Fitz-Simon at the time, and ran from 3 January 1964 to 7 June 1968. |
