Description |
Head and shoulders of RTE producer and British film director Peter Collinson in costume for a part (later abandoned) in a television play he produced entitled 'Don't Ever Talk To Clocks', broadcast on RTE on 18 February 1964. The play was written by Michael Judge and starred English actor Peter Sallis. In this shot Collinson is wearing glasses and has the thumb and forefinger of his right hand in his mouth. He is looking to the right of shot with an anxious, worried expression on his face. Peter Collinson also produced for the Irish theatre, notably the musical 'Carrie', before leaving RTE for Independent Television in London in 1964. He also directed several feature films, the best known of which is 'The Italian Job' starring Michael Caine. |
