| Description | Violinist Sheila O'Grady (Jnr) in the garden of her home in Terenure, Dublin in June 1962. Sheila is one of the O'Grady family of musicians. Her sisters Eily and Geraldine, a pianist and a violinist respectively, together with their mother Sheila (Snr) also took part in this shoot to publicise the fifteen-minute radio programme 'The O'Grady Ensemble', in which the sisters played traditional Irish airs. It was broadcast on 20 June 1962. An article on the O'Grady family appeared in the RTV Guide of 15 June 1962. | |
