Description |
Viennese-born conductor Albert Rosen conducting the RTÉ Symphony Orchestra (subsequently named the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra), at a concert in St Patrick's Teacher Training College, Dublin, in 1972. This concert featured Korean violinist Kyung-Wha Chung who played Beethoven's and Tchaikovsky's Violin Concertos; they were broadcast by RTÉ on 25 January and 1 February 1972 as part of the 'Music on Tuesday' series. Stills from this shoot accompanied an RTÉ Guide preview published on 21 January 1972. Albert Rosen was Principal Conductor with the RTÉSO (now the National Symphony Orchestra) from 1968 to 1981, when he became Principal Guest Conductor. |
