| Description | The production crew on the RTE documentary series 'Discovery' setting up a shot at Cherry Orchard Traveller Camp, Dublin during filming in 1965. About eight members of the crew are standing in the mid-ground; two are holding reflectors while the others are standing or sitting nearby. One of these may have been the programme's producer Peter Kennerley. A film camera on a tripod is also visible. Two more crew members are sitting on the steps of an antique caravan, partly visible on the left of shot, beside a traveller man. Kennerley wrote an article for the RTV Guide about this programme which appeared in the edition of 23 April 1965. It was broadcast on 30 April 1965. | |
