| Description | Irish actors Tony Tormey (left) as Paul Brennan and Clelia Murphy as his wife Niamh Cassidy in Scene 15 from Episode 48 (Series 15) of the RTE television drama series 'Fair City, during filming in October 2003. Also to be seen in this shot are several cult members standing in a group. These comprise two men, two girls and two boys. The boys and girls are played by extras. Bill Murphy plays the cult member Nick Barrett, who is the man standing at the front of the group. Frank Twomey plays the cult member, Douglas Quinn, who is the man standing at the back of the group. Two extras also sit at a table to the right of shot and several extras can be seen partially in the background. This scene is set in McCoy's pub on the 'Fair City' set, located in RTE's Stage A. In this shot, Tormey is holding a pint and looking to the right of shot at the cult members. He is in right profile. Murphy has her back to the camera and her face is hidden entirely. This episode was first transmitted on 21 November 2003. 'Fair City' is an urban soap set in Dublin which has been running on RTE 1 since 1989. | |
