American singer/songwriter John Denver during an interview for the RTÉ Television series, 'Video File', by the lakes of Killarney, County Kerry, in July 1986. Denver is wearing a 'Les Misérables' sweatshirt. This episode of the programme was broadcast as a 'Video File Special' on 31 December 1986. Denver had gone to Kerry shortly after performing in the Siamsa Cois Laoi festival in Cork on 27 July 1986. 'Video File' featured Marty Whelan interviewing a different musical artist each week - some of their videos were also played. 'Video File' ran from 1984 to 1991. |
