Head and shoulders of Irish artist Patrick Hickey in his print studio, May 1995. He is wearing a knitted hat, looking straight to camera. This still was taken to publicise the RTE television documentary 'Patrick Hickey, Artist', produced by Michael Garvey and broadcast on 28 November 1996. Patrick Hickey studied architecture at UCD and later taught in the School of Architecture there. He was head of painting at the NCAD (1986-90) and a founder member of the Graphic Studio in Dublin (1961). |
