Dawn Martin, Ireland's representative in the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest, performing on stage at Birmingham's National Indoor Arena. This is a half-length shot of her; she is standing to the left singing into a microphone. The song was 'Is always over now?'. Her two backing singers, Karen Hamil and Paul Harrington, can be seen in the right background. The RTE Guide published an interview with Dawn Martin in its edition of 8 May 1998. Dana International won that year's Eurovision for Israel. RTE broadcast the show live on 9 May. |
