| Description |
A man sits at a table in an RTE Radio Eireann studio, in Dublin's GPO on 26 September 1968. He is in right profile, holding an antique microphone and wearing a set of headphones. This is a good wide shot of the studio; a second microphone is attached to the wall, beside a clock reading 1.05. The window into the control room can be seen on the right of shot. Radio Eireann (or 2RN as it was originally called) had studios in the GPO from 1928, before moving to the Radio Centre in Montrose between 1972 and 1974. |
