Television and theatre producer/director Chloe Gibson, in the control room of RTÉ Television's Studio 4 in August 1991. This was a publicity shot taken for the television documentary 'Born Bolshie', about Chloe Gibson's contribution to the development of Irish television drama. It was an independent production by Double Dutch Films for RTÉ; the programme won a Jacob's Award in 1992. It was first broadcast on RTÉ on 8 January 1992. The RTÉ Guide featured a brief article on Chloe Gibson in its edition of 3 January 1992. Chloe Gibson was Head of Drama at RTÉ from 1965-1971 and directed Telefís Éireann's opening night on New Year's Eve 1961. |
