Irish actors Emmet Bergin as Dick Moran and Maria McDermottroe as Venetia Crosby kiss, in a publicity still for the RTÉ Television drama series 'Glenroe' taken in February/March 2000. This still was one of a number taken at the 'wedding' of characters Dick and Venetia. The RTÉ Guide featured an article on this 'Glenroe' wedding in its edition of 31 March 2000. 'Glenroe' was a rural soap devised by Wesley Burrowes that ran from 1983-2001. The episode featuring Dick and Venetia's wedding, 'April Fools Rush In', was written by Jennifer O'Hara. |
